Our History.

As we prepare to celebrate 150 years of Walgett Races in 2027, we’re calling on our community to help us tell the story.

We’re looking for your old race day photos, videos, memories and stories - big wins, fashions, funny moments, family traditions and everything in between.

Your submissions may be featured:

  • At the 150th Anniversary Race Day

  • Across our social media

  • In commemorative displays and event promotions

 

Whether it’s from 5 years ago or 150 years ago - we want to see it.

Submission T&C’s:

By submitting photos, videos or stories to Walgett Jockey Club, you confirm you own them or have permission to share them. You grant Walgett Jockey Club permission to publish, reproduce and display this content across social media, marketing, website, printed materials and at the 150th Anniversary event. Credit will be given where possible. Submissions may be edited for formatting or clarity.
